On May 6th, 2023 Mallory Lawrence and Clara-Beth Hyde opened a new shopping experience at the beloved building, the Persnickety Pig. Mallory has been in the grocery business in Trigg County for over 30 years as owner and manager of Hancock's Neighborhood Market. Clara-Beth has a background in nursing and has owned and operated Barkley Plantation Assisted Living for over 10 years. A few years ago these two girls talked of dreams and shared them with their husbands, Bob Lawrence and Mike Hyde. Mike immediately jumped on board by saying, "This is a perfect opportunity for Trigg County and you two are the ones to make it happen." Bob and Mike were partners for over 20 years in L & H Farms, so it was only appropriate for their wives to form a partnership. With their families behind them cheering them on, Mallory and Clara-Beth opened the doors of the Persnickety Pig to Cadiz/Trigg County and travelers all around.
